Waris Rasheed is a multidisciplinary artmaker from Nigeria who started his early career with the African Traditional Dance. He is a native of Oyo state but lives in Lagos Nigeria. After spending time with movement, he is now interested in making music, fascinated by the relationship that intertwines the act of Movement and choreography. He is popularly recognized for his Nigerian street music as he is called AZZI ON THE BEAT. He has been involved in so many artistic productions as a dancer and some as a sound artist such as the Afropean Festival Frankfurt, and Bad News Festival Wiesbaden, and won many reputable awards. He is currently the sound Director for R2 PRODUCTIONS.
